VACCINE REQUIREMENTS

All dogs and cats must have a current rabies vaccination. Proof of a current rabies vaccine showing the expiration date is required prior to any grooming services rendered. Just having the rabies tag is not enough information, as it does not show the expiration date. Vaccination information can be emailed in advance to frontdesk@woofgangcw.com or you can bring it with you to your appointment. A hard copy is not required if you have the ability to bring it up on your phone (through an app, photo, etc). 

DROP OFF & PICK UP PROCEDURES

Drop Off: With the exception of walk-in nail trim services, all grooming sessions are BY APPOINTMENT only. Due to limited kennel space and for the comfort of your pet, we try to limit the amount of time your pet(s) spends in our salon. Please do not drop off your pet(s) more than 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment time. We may ask you to come back if you arrive too early for your appointment or we may charge a $15 early drop-off fee. Our first appointments of the day are often scheduled at 9:00AM. Early drop-off cannot be accommodated under any circumstances for this appointment time as 9:00am is when we open. 

Late Drop Offs: We have a fifteen-minute grace period after your scheduled appointment time to drop-off. We will call you after 5 minutes to ensure you are on your way. After fifteen minutes, we cannot guarantee that the full service will be performed, and it will be at the discretion of your groomer. After 20 minutes, your appointment will be canceled or rescheduled to ensure we can timely service all of the other dogs on our schedule. A cancellation fee of $25 may apply. 

Pick Up: We send a text message (or call if preferred) 15 minutes before your pet(s) is ready for pickup. All pet(s) must be picked up within one hour of that notification. Late pickups will be subject to a minimum of a $15 fee after that first hour. 

PAYMENT

Payment is due at pick up. An estimate of price can be provided at the time of scheduling or drop-off. However, pricing can vary for each dog and is determined by breed, size, and condition of the coat. Additional charges may be incurred for de-matting, shave downs, and/or behavior in addition to additional services requested such as teeth brushing or anal gland expression. We accept cash, credit cards, and checks. A $35 fee will be applied for any returned checks. 

CANCELLATIONS

We send appointment confirmation texts and emails at the time of booking. Appointment reminder texts and emails are sent two days and one day prior to your appointment. Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Same-day cancellations will incur a $25 fee that must be paid prior to rebooking. Multiple last-minute cancellations may result in a prepayment requirement for future services. 

DE-MATTING

For the health, safety and comfort of the animal, we will not de-mat a severely matted coat. If a minor amount of matting is found and can be safely brushed out, de-matting fees will be applied. If the matting is severe and a shave down deemed necessary, we will obtain verbal and/or written authorization to proceed from the pet parent. If the shave-down is refused, we will not be able to provide services and the appointment will be canceled. 

FLEAS

For the health and safety of your pet(s) and the other pets in our care, if we find any fleas whatsoever on your pet, we will automatically do a flea bath using our natural flea shampoo. An additional $15 charge will be applied for the flea bath service. 

HEALTH CONDITIONS

If you are concerned about or aware of any health-related conditions that may impact a grooming session, please contact us regarding your appointment as soon as possible. We will not groom animals with active infections, including but not limited to kennel cough, ringworm, pinkeye, parvo, distemper, mange or open wounds. A letter of clearance from your veterinarian will be needed prior to a grooming session if your pet has had these conditions. We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe it unsafe for either your pet(s) or the other pets in our care. We do not groom female dogs in heat. Please speak with your veterinarian about recommended recovery time prior to grooming if your pet has been recently spayed or neutered. Stitches must be dissolved prior to grooming if a dog has recently had any surgical procedure.
